The Belgian Malinois come from the Belgian City of Malines. Malinois differ in size and weight. They have shorter and harder fur on body. This breed is developed in 1800. These dog are very active.the colors of Malinois coats are often red, brown and fawn. The internal coat of GSD keep him dog warm, especially in the cold weather. He is 24-26 inches tall than GSD. The Balgian Malinois weight is lower than German shepherd.

Belgian Malinois ranges from 60 to 65 lbs. Malinois are easy to train. This canine is strong,athletic, sensitive and energetic too. They are easy to train a younger dog than reserving a older one.

They have less energy. Another difference is that Malinois has deeper ears and  mostly used for examine wax build up as well as mites. Grooming is very necessary to keep their coat neat.  Usually, they required grooming at least once a week. This breed shed more than German shepherd. Belgian Malinois have different health issue. Cancer is one of the important ailment which impact the Malinois life. They also develop diabetes, which is also harmful for him.

German shepherd is very brave and hardworking dog breed. These dogs are loyal and affectionate. they also the family members. Average lifespan of Malinois is 10-12 years.  They do not have a shedding season. Its height is about 24-26 inches tall and weight is between75-95 pounds.
